Welcome to Base31’s Outdoor Summer Camp
For kids ages 4–12 | A summer of adventure, creativity, and fun!
Why Families Love Base31 Camp
Base31’s Outdoor Summer Camp gives kids a summer to remember—filled with hands-on activities and endless opportunities to connect with history, art, science, sports, and nature. Each day is thoughtfully structured, with two-thirds of the schedule dedicated to guided activities (like art projects, science experiments, and group games and outdoor adventures), and one-third left open for unstructured play. This balance lets campers explore their interests, follow their imagination, and dive into the activities that excite them most.
With guidance from our enthusiastic counsellors, kids will:
- Unplug from screens and reconnect with the great outdoors
- Explore local gardens, art installations, and hidden corners of Base31
- Team up for creative projects, from carnival mask-making to dinosaur sun catchers
- Experiment with solar-powered cooking and fun science activities
- Laugh, learn, and build friendships that last long after summer ends
- Every day is a new adventure, with a flexible program that evolves based on the interests of our campers. The best summer days are the ones where imagination leads the way!

MEET Madison
Meet Madison–and if your child was at Base31 Camp last summer, chances are they already know exactly who she is.
Madison is back for her second summer at Base31, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome her home. A Prince Edward County local, Madison graduated from PECI in 2021 and just completed her Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus in Psychology, which means she doesn't just bring the fun, she understands how kids think, grow, and thrive.
Madison's experience with children runs deep. She has worked as both a camp counsellor and a daycare worker through The Hub, where she built the kind of genuine, lasting connections with kids that make them excited to come back every single day. Whether she's leading a science experiment, teaching a new craft, organizing an epic game, or simply being a steady, cheerful presence when a camper needs one–Madison shows up with a smile and a whole lot of heart.
Her superpower? Making every child feel like they belong.
We are so glad she's back.
