The Sensory Garden is now open following recent improvements in the surrounding area. While the space remains open to visitors, additional enhancements and beautification will continue over the coming weeks. We appreciate your patience as this beloved space continues to grow and evolve.

The Sensory Garden offers a whimsical and engaging space designed to heighten the senses—smell, sight, taste, touch, and sound—through nature-based play. Whether you’re a child or simply young at heart, this permanent garden is a unique destination for exploration and connection with nature.

Located on the far north side of the site—left of Building 3 beside the Aviators Garden—the Sensory Garden features beautiful sensory signage and the vibrant art mural Exploring the Senses by artist Portia Chapman.

The garden is open seven days a week for FREE, unsupervised play. If you’d like to reserve a semi-private space for your celebration once it reopens, please complete the online reservation form.
