The Sensory Garden offers a whimsical and engaging space designed to heighten the senses—smell, sight, taste, touch, and sound—through nature-based play. Whether you’re a child or simply young at heart, this permanent garden is a unique destination for exploration and connection with nature.

Join local children’s author Judy McGee for a special reading of her book Pennygirl’s Rescue in the Sensory Garden. This enchanting experience is designed for kids ages 3–9 and stickers + printed mazes will be provided for the children.

Her enchanting non-fiction stories are richly colored with interesting characters & stunning illustrations, captivating both children and adults alike. Judy draws her richly detailed stories from real life adventures with her rescue dog, Penny. She enjoys spending time with family, gardening, crafting and walking her dog, Penny, on The Millennium Trail.

Hailey Decarie a mom of two boys and a 200hr certified yoga teacher. Yoga has been a passion of hers for 9 years now. It has taught her patience, self love and mindfulness on and off the mat. She started teaching yoga in October of 2021 and it has brought her so much joy and loves sharing with those in the community. Yoga can and should be for everyone. That’s the beautiful part of a yoga practice.

- Cooking demo dish: Veggie curry
- Zero-waste hacks: Turn scraps into bonus recipes
- Take-home recipe: Showcasing food cost and tips to minimize food waste (printed copy)
