OPENING THE WEEKEND OF JUNE 1

Introducing Prince Edward County’s latest culinary haven: The Commissary. Base31’s vibrant open-air food and drink market and your go-to spot for breakfast eats, après beach cocktails and dinner, and late night post-concert drinks and snacks. The Commissary features five shipping container kitchens with otherworldly menus, plenty of seating, and the Commissary Bar and Cafe — all set within a music-infused vibe.

Saturday, June 1

The Commissary | Serving food + drink all day and all night

Bring your family and friends and come explore our new outdoor food and drink market. The Commissary opens June 1 and we have a variety of activities planned for our partners and friends.

We will be e open from 9am to 1am for great food and drinks available for purchase. Try five new incredible menus from our Chefs-in-Residence: Arvy’s Street Eats, Cressy Mustard Co., La Baracca, Pinched, Smoking J’s BBQ. Plus, enjoy bespoke cocktails or mocktails to taste what’s on offer all summer long. Please feel free to drop by for the fun activities below or come anytime through to late night.

Join us for a special moment to thank everyone who has contributed to the success and build of The Commissary.

An official ribbon cutting will take place during our stakeholder appreciation night on Saturday, June 15 with our local dignitaries, where speeches will take place to honour those who contributed to this space.

Après Beach in The Commissary – Devon Henderson Trio | 4 – 7pm

Enjoy a free afternoon outdoor performance, plus The Commissary is open for late-night, music-infused vibes until 1am.

Brunch in The Commissary – Joey Wright | 10am – 1pm

Come for brunch in The Commissary and take in live music on the outdoor stage featuring Juno-nominated songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and performer, Joey Wright.

During the soft launch period, The Commissary will open at 8am daily and close at 4pm on Mon-Tues, 11 pm Wed-Thurs, 1am on Fri and Sat, and 7pm on Sundays. We will be updating our hours after the soft launch period. Please be advised that service may conclude earlier than indicated, as hours are subject to change.
