Skate Social

Every Thursday from Sept 19 to Nov 28

Roll into fall at Base31’s Drill Hall with our FREE weekly roller skating event, hosted by Maria Serrano from SAVE THE WHEELS. Every Thursday, skaters of all levels are invited to lace up their roller skates or blades and join in the fun. With upbeat music, family-friendly drinks and snacks available for purchase, it’s the perfect way to bring the community together.

Skate Social is more than just skating, it’s a high-energy activity that gets your heart pumping while fostering new friendships and a sense of belonging. Grab your gear and get ready for a good time, just remember to bring your own rollerblades!

Maria Serrano - Instructor

Maria Serrano was born in the seventies, grew up with roller skating as a significant part of her life. A year ago, she rediscovered this passion and became a certified instructor. For her, roller skating is not only a way to stay active but also a way to challenge herself and express her creativity. It fills her with energy and never fails to lift her spirits. When she puts on her skates, she feels brave and unstoppable, and she loves sharing that empowering feeling with others.
