The shaded picnic area can be booked for 2-hour timeslots on Saturdays and Sundays and comes with 3 picnic tables, 9 colourful lounge chairs, buffet-style tables, and an electric outlet. The Sensory Garden is open to the public, however, your group will have the corner section reserved to relax and celebrate. The seating area can accommodate up to 20-25 people.

• You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking.
• We reserve the right to cancel bookings (due to maintenance, weather, etc…).
• Alcohol beverages in any form are prohibited.
• Loudspeakers, amplifiers, or microphones are prohibited unless written approval is obtained from Base31.
• No open fires or open flame grills are allowed.
• Full payment and a signed Terms and Conditions agreement are required to guarantee rental.

Please ensure you check in with the visitor centre at least 15 minutes before your scheduled booking to have your ticket scanned. Our Visitor Services team will then guide you through the space and address any queries you may have.

Please note that the deadline for last-minute bookings for each upcoming weekend is 5:00 PM on Thursdays. If there are no rentals reserved by this time each week, they will be automatically removed from the availability list.
